I had the awesome opportunity to direct the #StGiles360 campaign. It had many parts– all centered around enabling guests with new technology to show the St Giles Experience in a new way. These centrally located hotels put guests right in the heart of several major cities. We ran a contest and awarded 12 guests and 12 social influencers the opportunity to capture their trip with a Samsung Gear 360 VR camera. My team and I also traveled around the world capturing footage and content for this campaign. We ingested all the footage and created a library of 360 videos. Each guest or influencer received their own personal edit of their trip which was entered into a "Best of" contest where the winner received free nights. All of these were aggregated on a microsite where anyone can interact with the videos of the campaign and book hotel packages for a chance to win a trip around the world.
We created a 3 months social media package to enhance and support the campaign. We held events across our network and had several of the social influencers take over our channels for a day to spread our message.
